We'll Miss You, April 🌸
But Come What May! 🌼

Hi NextTriber,
Happy Monday, Austin NextTribe!
I’m baaaack! I had such a fun time with Jeannie Ralston and some lovely new friends in Asheville, NC. Highly recommend that trip. (There’s another one coming up in the Fall!)

ASHEVILLE ADVENTURES!
The Asheville trip visiting Jeannie Ralston in her new home town was pretty darn fabulous. My roommate, and fellow Mushroom Maven, Peggy Miller, and I had a good time everywhere we went. We foraged for mushrooms and herbs, had a champagne toast in a vintage book store, more than one incredible dinner (one even featured our foraged veggies!) sunset cocktails at a grand stone hunting lodge, the Chihuly exhibit, and most incredible of all, a tour of Biltmore and it’s extensive gardens. We were very fortunate to meet a group of women writers, who read their works to us in a 100+ year old house. Heaven!
LAST WEEK IN AUSTIN
Back in Texas! Last week I was able to attend a fundraising lunch for Women’s Storybook Project, (Thanks to Pat Reed!) partied with my siblings at several Austin landmarks, and finally had massive yogurt parfaits with my sister at Comfort Cafe in Smithville.
