Not Exactly My Favorite Holiday

Happy Monday, Austin NextTribe!
This past week we didn’t have any Austin Next Tribe events, but it sure seems like our members were busy! I’m sharing photos some y’all sent me!

LAST WEEK IN AUSTIN

Book clubs, Pickle ball, frolicking in the last of the bluebonnets. Austin Next Tribers know how to have fun!

THIS WEDNESDAY!

Cawfee Tawk this week! We’re meeting Wednesday April 17 at Papi’s Pies in Round Rock. Vanessa Sinclair is hosting this time, at one of her favorite spots. She’s got a few places nearby that we can visit as well!
The co-owner and general manager is an actor, director and fine arts photographer from Bolivia. They even have an Exhibits Curator on staff! “When you walk through our garden patio gate, you walk into the kitchen of our childhood memories in Bolivia and Mexico. We welcome you to enjoy our restaurant as your community gathering space to convene over food and art.”
She’ll likely come up with a few other local places to visit up in Round Rock, so let’s get ready to ROCK. Facebook event here.

SUNDAY SALON WITH MELINDA GARVEY

NO SUNDAY SALON IN APRIL.
But we’ve got a BIG name coming in May, so mark your calendar! Melinda Garvey, the founder of Austin Woman Magazine is joining us on Sunday May 19.
Melinda is a serial entrepreneur, founding her first company, Austin Woman magazine, 22 years ago and then just recently executing a successful and unprecedented organizational restructure to bring on seven additional diverse female owners as partners. She is also the founder of On The Dot, a software platform for virtual communities. Melinda serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity Austin and is leading their Women Build giving initiative.
