Travel Tips Tuesdays: Can Your Gummies Get Through TSA?
Plus, worst airports for flight delays and how to be the best hotel guest.

Travel news for our favorite travelers.
Mexico’s New Visa Enforcement for US Citizens
Good news! If you’re flying into Mexico (we’re looking at you—NextTribe travelers to Playa Troncones this week—your passport and the immigration form you’re asked to fill out on the plane will cover you. You may have read some news about strict enforcement of visa requirements at the border. That just applies to walkers and drivers, not fliers. We checked with the Mexican Embassy in Washington for you and they confirmed it.

From plane to Mexican beach without a hassle!
How to be a Good Hotel Guest
Daily Passport has a list of 6 things hotels wish guests would do. Something we always forget: fill out the survey. They actually read them and often try to make improvements based on your feedback.
And don’t be shy about telling the hotel if there’s something wrong in time for them to correct it. “I hate when people check out, and we ask how their stay went, and they respond with a problem,” one hotel worker says, and then a bad review!
Protect Your Credit Cards
Especially overseas, travelers can be targeted by thieves that read RFID chips on your credit cards. PacSafe has tons of secure travel items for sale that can keep all of your valuables protected, if you don’t use (or have access to) a hotel safe.

Text Your Questions to TSA to 275-872
Most of us may still have to take off our shoes, but TSA is making small advances these days. TSA is now responding to texts. Text the number and in the message box write TSA.
We just tried it and got an immediate reply..

Charlotte plus 3 other Airports: Most Flight Disruptions! Ugh!
Is there anything worse than seeing your plane parked at the gate but you can’t board it because of a delay, or worse, a cancellation?
AirHelp is a highly-rated platform that provides a lot of good information about your rights if your flights are delayed or cancelled.
They just came out with a report of the worst airport for delays, and my home airport, Charlotte, is in the top 4! The other 3 to avoid, if you can, are Dallas/Ft. Worth, Miami, and Ft Lauderdale.

The only thing worse would be sitting inside the plane and not taking off!
Travel wisely, and widely!
