Spring Break In Austin!
Let's Go Have Some Fun

Good Afternoon, Austin NextTribe!
I hope Daylight Savings didn’t make you late for any coffee dates. (Excuse me while I switch all my clocks FORWARD!) SXSW and Spring Break are in full swing, so I’m keeping plans very simple for the next week or so. The weather is so gorgeous, I hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy our spectacular springtime!

LAST WEEK IN AUSTIN
For last week’s Cawfee Tawk we had another East Side adventure. Some of us took the train again (still, problems with ticketing…come on, Cap Metro! Do better!) We had a great tour of one of Austin’s oldest and largest wholesale coffee roasters, Texas Coffee Traders an institution in Austin for 30 years. Gotta love a cute, tall tour guide with a messy man bun! Thanks to Sherry Cordry for setting it up. The free coffee drinks were a nice morning surprise!
COFFEE TAWK AT SPREAD

Our next Cawfee Tawk is Thursday March 21 at SPREAD & Co, the Jefferson Square location on West 38th.
Feel free to check out their menu ahead of time, you could even order ahead of time if you’d like using their online ordering system.
Thanks to Becky Nolan for schmoozing with the owners and getting us a primo patio spot!
SUNDAY SALON WITH KIM WILKIN
Our March Sunday Salon is March 24, 2-4 at Salt Traders.
We're excited to have a NextTribe member present to us, Kim Wilkin, the Abundant Traveler.
Kim is a travel blogger and expert who has traveled to more than 65 countries, and has lived all around the world. She loves to guide, teach and educate women about travel, and will share her tips about safety and building community while traveling overseas.
Thanks to Nancy Goedeke for facilitating the Sunday Salon series!

LET’S TAKE A DIP IN ESTHER’S POOL

THURSDAY MARCH 28! Let’s "Be A Tourist In Your Own Town" and venture down to Dirty 6th! Esther's Follies is an INSTITUTION on 6th Street. Politically incorrect, topical and very, very funny. Not sure there are any tickets left to buy, but you can check on their website, www.esthersfollies.com/tickets
Facebook event, click here.
Show starts at 7:00 PM, but some of us are planning dinner ahead of time. Please shoot me an email if you’d like to join us. [email protected]
