NextTribe Members News: Daycation this week!

🌞 🕶️ 🏊🏻‍♀️ 🩱 👙

Mars here. I’m seeing a flurry of new members recently, likely because of the exciting trips NextTribe has scheduled. All my friends seem to be in far-flung, exotic locations this month. But us Austin gals have a ritzy-resorty Daycation scheduled this week! 🌞 🕶️ 🏊🏻‍♀️ 🩱 👙 🍹

Local Happenings

Austin

This Wednesday July 17th Vanessa Sinclair is hosting a Swim Club at the Downright Austin Hotel. You need to purchase a one day Resort Pass. (I’m now looking at other Resort Pass locations for spas too!)

This Wednesday at the Downright Austin Hotel!

Houston

Our friends in Houston have absolutely been through the wringer with Hurricane Beryl. Some people still don’t have power. Let’s all send positive power vibes to all affected.

Katherine Adams is our Houston-area NextTribe coordinator. She has planned a deli lunch at Kenny & Ziggy’s on Saturday July 27 at 11:30 am. Please RSVP to her by texting 281-543-4609.

Check out the Houston group on TribeSocial, join in, and feel free to invite your local friends.

SAVE THE DATE for a Austin/Houston/Galveston Road Trip Oct 4-6.

SAVE THE DATE! Katherine Adams and members in Houston are working on a road trip to Galveston for any Texas NextTriber who wants to join us. More details to come.

San Antonio

The San Antonio NextTribers have created a Tribe Social Group and are planning on getting together this summer. Details will be posted on Tribe Social and in a future Members email.

Phoenix/Scottsdale

Teri Doss asks members and friends in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area to Save the Date: October 16, for a get together there. Details to follow later this summer.

I’ll be back with more local NextTribe community fun in two weeks.

Upcoming Trips

Asheville

I shot this on the grounds of Biltmore. There may or may not be some “bad pano” versions.

There are 4 slots left for Insider Asheville October 20-23. I felt very much like an insider in Jeannie R’s hometown. The city is a perfect blend of an arty/hippie vibes, and our Foundry Hotel was smack in the middle of the beautiful, walkable, historic The Block neighborhood. I was able to check off several bucket-list items, including a drive through the gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway, “America’s Favorite Drive”, seeing the art-filled Biltmore estate, and having a sunset cocktail at the famous Grove Park Inn.

Affordable San Miguel

One of the first trips I ever took with NextTribe was to San Miguel de Allende. (“Old world charm, first world amenities.”) I’ll never forget it.

The 5 night Insider Tour November 4-9 still has a few spots open. Don’t wait! This is an amazing, affordable opportunity to see this historic and colorful city yourself. Even though Dia de Los Muertos activities will be over, there will still be lots of decorations and celebrations throughout the city.
