Mars here. This past weekend, my sister Melissa and I took a road trip to our old neighborhood in Dallas. We had a few fun events planned! First we met our two other sisters for a celebratory dinner at an old school landmark restaurant. We ended our night at a swanky downtown Dallas Cigar Lounge cheering on Team USA.

On Saturday we met up with some Dallas-area NextTribers for a Cawfee Tawk. Member Kim Schlossberg suggested a great location for us; Well Grounded Coffee. (Kim also did all of their branding!) Their mission is to transform women’s lives through a process of training, education, community and faith. Founder Natalie Huscheck spoke to us about some of the wonderful success stories of their employees and their expansion into a second location in Oak Cliff. Together they have created a very warm, welcoming, cozy neighborhood meeting space.

We all enjoyed meeting Jackie Karnes for the first time. I was so glad to see Michele, Heather, and Tammy again. Already planning our next event, and hoping the Houston Tribe gets bigger, louder, and more fun.”
