NextTribe Articles: Skiing with Old Friends; A Beach with New Ones
Plus, we open up another trip for our beloved Dia de los Muertos trip in San Miguel de Allende in 2025.
Jeannie Edmunds is still in Vietnam with our travel group and is having such a blast exploring the rich culture that she wants to post a 2025 trip there ASAP. Jeannie Ralston thought she might lead the trip next year, but Edmunds says absolutely not. “This is heaven,” Edmunds says. “I claim it every year.” Stay tuned for another opportunity to visit the homes of indigenous women, to learn the arts of pottery and batiking, and to skim along crystalline water with gum drop mountains as a back drop. Ralston won’t get her chance, but that doesn’t mean you can’t.
Now that she’s back in the States after two weeks in Mexico, Ralston is done with her big NextTribe trips for the year. But she’s still on the move. Heading to DC for a funeral—her guy Mike’s dad—at Arlington National Cemetery (sniff!), then on to NYC for a sold-out Sunday Salon with political journalist Nina Burleigh. Boy, do we have a lot to talk about.
But San Miguel de Allende has still been foremost on Ralston’s mind. She’s added a second trip to San MIguel de Allende for Dia de los Muertos in 2025. (The first one sold out in a matter of days.) Don’t hesitate since we expect this one to fill up super fast too. Click here to grab your slot.
Until you get on an airplane to join us somewhere in this wide, wonderful world, we hope these articles appease your wanderlust.

And one from our archives, which we chose because we’ve been hearing from so many of you about your overwhelming anger.
