Myths of Marrying a Younger Man

Plus: Traveling Off Season

Hey there,

Getting ready to fire up the grill for the last holiday of summer?

Jeannie Ralston is relishing these final sweet summer days in Asheville with “Magic Mike” before she heads out for our Fall travel season, starting with Portugal, followed by hiking the Inca Trail in Peru.

Jeannie Edmunds is back in Austin with her “Darling Dave.” The first thing she did when she returned was to soothe her spirit in the chilly waters of Barton Springs, the 3-acre natural spring pool where Robert Redford learned to swim. She discovered that factoid in a wonderful documentary directed by Terence Malick called “The Unforeseen.” Watch it and you’ll see why Jeannie, Dave, and many other Austinites say Barton Springs is their religion.

You’ll get to dip into Barton Springs next March on our Insider Trip there, which Jeannie E. is leading. She’ll be joined by Marcellina Kampa, who wrote this week’s article on the best things to see and do in Austin (see below).

NextTribe’s travel schedule really picks up in September and we’re adding trips constantly. Glad you’re with us here to keep up on all the fun.
