Members Exclusive: 2 New Trips

And they couldn't be more different: Paris and the Himalayas

Happy last-few-weeks-of-summer, NextTribe members!

I’m opening up two new trips for you, and you can secure your spot with $500 during your exclusive booking window, which ends this Thursday.

A Week in Paris…Live like a Parisian

Ahh, Paris! City of lights. Fashion. French cuisine.

If you’ve been there, you know. There’s something in the air, the quality of the light, the smell of fresh baguettes wafting from bakery doorways.

If you’ve been there, you’ve probably seen the Louvre, Rodin’s sculpture garden, and, of course, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc d’ Triomphe.

If you’ve never been, take a couple of extra days to see these, because our itinerary avoids the more traditional tourist activities.

Instead, Ellen Williams, our trip leader and the author of “The Impressionists’ Paris,” “Picasso’s Paris,” and “Historic Restaurants of Paris,” has a love affair with the city that she will share with you.

She knows the best shops, the most intriguing streets and alleyways, the most exotic markets, and the secret restaurants where locals hang out. She’ll help you see and appreciate this European capital in a way no one else can: through the eyes of a woman who fell in love with a city and just can’t let go.

Her passion for all things Parisian is infectious. Her understanding of what women our age would like to see is unmatched. Bottom line: whether it’s your first trip to this magical city or you’re returning after years away, your week in Paris with Ellen will show you a side of Paris that only the Parisians know and Ellen has discovered through her years of research and travel there.

Here’s what one traveler said about her experience on one of our recent trips there:

"We landed in Paris as strangers but concluded the trip as friends. It is hard to explain how well the group coalesced. We enjoyed learning about each other, sharing experiences, and looked out for each other. I have high hopes we stay in touch. I have been to Paris many times, as a child, as a tourist, as a honeymooner, for work, as a widow....experiencing this trip with a lovely group was really at the top of the list."

Hiking in the Himalayas

Climbing Mt. Everest is the pinnacle of human achievement.

Is it on your bucket list?

Don’t worry, we’re not that ambitious! We’ll leave that to the professional, technical climbers.

However….we are going to hike the Himalayas (max. altitude FYI: 14,000 feet)

There's something magical that happens when you lace up your boots, your sherpa takes your pack, and you step onto a trail with a group of women who understand that 50-something (or 60-something, or beyond) is not the time to start playing it safe.

I'm talking about that moment when the chatter quiets, your breathing finds its rhythm, and suddenly you're not thinking about the endless to-do list you left behind, where you put your keys, or any of the thousand little worries that usually crowd your mind on the daily. You're just here—fully, completely, gloriously present.

That's exactly what happened to me on my first real hiking adventure after launching NextTribe. I'd spent so many years being the responsible one, the planner, the woman who had her life perfectly mapped out. But somewhere between mile two and the first spectacular vista, I realized I'd forgotten something crucial: the pure joy of not knowing exactly what's around the next bend.

This is the kind of experience that reminds you that your most interesting chapters might still be unwritten. Where conversations with strangers become the kind of deep connections you didn't know you were missing. Where that voice in your head that whispers "you're too old for this" gets quieter with every step, until all you can hear is your own laughter echoing off the mountainsides.

Our small group (because honestly, who has time for cattle-call tourism?) will be guided by women who know these trails like poetry—every switchback, every hidden waterfall, every perfect spot to pause and catch your breath while you catch your breath at the view.

Maybe you're the woman who's always wanted to challenge herself physically but never had the time. Or you're rediscovering your sense of adventure after years of putting everyone else first. Perhaps you're navigating a life transition and ready to prove to yourself that you're stronger than you ever imagined.

Because the truth is, some of our most transformative moments happen when we're slightly out of breath, surrounded by women who get it, in places so beautiful they make your heart hurt in the best possible way.

This hiking adventure isn't about conquering mountains. It's about remembering that the woman who dreams of adventures and the woman who makes them happen can be the same person.

We’ve never done this trip before, but as a NextTribe member you probably know how we roll. If you’re new to our trips, here’s what one first-time traveler said about hiking with us on the Inca trail:

The best way to experience the physical challenges and simply awe-inspiring magic of the Inca trail is with a group of powerful like-minded women - and this is what NextTribe facilitated. A group of perfect strangers bonding in the adventure of a lifetime."
