Feed your curious mind, and your soul

The last two weeks have been a flurry of activity with the launch of the new NextTribe website and the acquisition of Girls On The Go Destinations. So, if you’re new to NextTribe, welcome! We hope you enjoy the journey with us: either as a traveler, a participant in your local community of NextTribers, or a reader of our magazine.

If you’ve been on this journey with us for a while, you know that even though we are at our core light and playful, we’re very serious about the kinds of stories we publish, the kinds of trips we put together and this: 

• connecting you with other women, in person or through stories of our common shared experiences,  

• being provocative, 

• calling out the bullshit when we see it, 

• celebrating and lifting up women in our age group.

Too many companies are clueless about how to reach women our age. They think all we care about is men, money, and menopause. Really? 

We are multi-dimensional, multi-layered, multi-tasking creatures who remain a mystery to everyone except ourselves.

We get why someone our age would be curious about getting a "full brazilian" wax

Or why women our age are good at following their intuition

Or want a hot take on the Golden Bachelor wedding

You can count on us to bring you stories you’ll actually be interested in reading, not just more “marketing content” that’s been AI-generated or optimized for likes and clicks. We respect you too much for that. 

We don’t rehash or republish content from other sites. All of our writing is original. All of our writers are actually working writers. And you can tell, we take a while to select just the right image for each article, often with a cheeky dash of humor. 

Even if you can’t or don’t want to travel right now, we hope you’ll enjoy what we’re creating for you. Read the articles and have a laugh, or a good cry. Share them with whoever you think needs to read them. When you read about something new, be a “YES” woman and try it! 

And if you lived in Charleston on the inland waterway, the first image you saw in this email was what you’d see out your window. You can actually have that view from a NextTriber’s home–where she hosts a luncheon on her veranda during our Perfect Charleston Girls' Trip. And this boat ride is part of the same trip!

Our weekend getaway to Charleston is just one of nearly a dozen trips this year that haven’t already filled up. If you’re not in travel mode yet, just read the itineraries. You know how some people who don’t even cook like to read recipes? Read about our trips and crank up that intuition. 

Just know that when we go out dancing (as we do), our high spirits and positivity seem to attract attention from local Golden Bachelors wherever we go. 

So maybe you’ll want to give that Brazilian wax story another read! 

Just remember: blow out the birthday candles when they pull the wax strips. That makes it hurt less.
