Let's Party!

Hi NextTriber,
Happy Monday, Austin NextTribe!
As I transition my position into managing other local communities for NextTribe, I wanted to give you a heads up. In a few weeks we’ll be rolling the Austin weekly email into a Members email that you’ll get on Tuesdays. I’ll continue to post our upcoming events within the email, and of course we’ll keep our Austin Members Facebook Group too. Jennifer Miller is now managing Tribe Social, so you’ll likely see more Austin information on that platform as well. AND…we’ve been promised a new member dashboard, so folks will be able to check their membership status, payment updates anytime. Onward through the fog!

LAST WEEK IN AUSTIN
Between all the rain storms, we had lots of activity last week. We had two tables worth of Austin NextTribers show up for Cawfee Tawk last week. Central Market sure seems to be the spot for groups of “mature” Austinites! Delighted to see two new members join us, and as usual, we table hopped and introduced ourselves to each other!
Busy, but fun weekend! Hope everyone was able to vote. I went to an Art Walk in Fayetteville over the weekend, and bought pieces from two fantastic local women artists. And I was grateful to be invited to two joyful family celebrations, followed by a friend’s Cinco de Mayo fiesta!

THIS WEEK

THIS WEEK! Austin Next Tribe member Shara Nickell invited us to see her art at the new Painted Tree in Sunset Valley, at 3 pm on Wednesday May 8. Afterwards we’ll have drinks and appetizers (or dinner, we’re paying our own way) at Doc’s Backyard. Because this is a new gallery, the merchants are excited and eager to have us. Shara says at least 13 vendors have created discounts, and are putting together free samples and swag for our group! Please let us know if you’re coming. Facebook event here: (If you’re not on FB, email me at [email protected])
NEXT WEEK

Cawfee Tawk Thursday May 16th at a new place…Saveurs La Boulangerie at Davenport Village in West Austin. Their menu sounds absolutely mouthwatering! 10 am to noonish. FB Event here:
