The Coolest New Travel Trick
4 new trips about to be released. Will you be the first to know?
Hi reader,

Travel news for our favorite travelers.
On her way back from our Beach Retreat in Playa Troncones Mexico, Jeannie Edmunds wrote me with a new trick she had learned. You simply write your airline code and flight number in a text to yourself (or to anyone waiting for you at the other end of a journey) and it becomes a live link to all the relevant information you need. Updated departure time, gate, delays, baggage carousel, etc.
Plus, it shows the flight in real time so I could watch her plane skim across the western edge of Mexico and land at LAX.
One thing I love about Jeannie E. (and all the women I meet through NextTribe) is that we’re hungry to keep learning–AND make traveling as easy as possible. Give it a try.
The Tribe gathered on Playa Troncones on our Beach Retreat.
Married Women Traveling Without Husbands
We didn’t need to read an industry journal to know that one of the biggest trends in travel right now is women who want to leave their partners at home. We’ve seen this a lot since we first started offering trips six years ago.
It doesn’t mean their marriages are at risk. It’s just that after so many years of tailoring our travels to the likes and dislikes of our family, we think it’s about time we liberate ourselves and honor our latent free spirits. Time to soar!
I’ve heard from many women that when husbands come along, so much of their energy is spent making sure their guys are having a good time. Because as we all know, there’s nothing worse than being in an exotic, exciting destination with someone who’s unhappy. What a waste of time and money. We’re proud to report we have the antidote for that.
Cuba Siempre!
As you may have already experienced, a NextTribe trip doesn’t end when you land back home. You can continue to relive your experience with the women who caught their breath at the very same landscape or got lost in the music with you on some distant dance floor.
Most of the time that reliving is on the trip-specific text group or TribeSocial group. But sometimes it’s in person–like this Cuba reunion in Austin on Sunday where the mojitos were flowing. One Florida traveler flew in just to see her new pals. That’s the kind of connection we make on these trips.
Our Italian Villa: Most Instagrammable in the World?
For our Creativity Retreat in Umbria, Italy, we have the true honor of staying at a jaw-dropping villa owned by a friend. Now that villa is in the running for most Instagrammable accommodations in the world.
Check out the cheeky competition here, and scroll down to the Europe section to cast your vote for Tenuta di Murlo (which is facing off against a hotel called Our Habitas.)
Available Soon: Tuscany, Havana and More
We’re about to open up trips to Marfa/Big Bend in December 2024, to Tuscany during the Holidays, to Cuba in Feb. 2025 and our Beach Retreat in March 2025.
Our Lifetime Members get first dibs on every trip and then our other members get their turn before the public. Don’t miss out: If you’re not a member, make sure you sign up or renew.
