Age Boldy: Our Favorite Travel TV Shows
Plus the story behind the woman who pretty much invented champagne.
Turn about is fair play. This week it’s Jeannie Edmunds who is off in an exotic destination and Ralston who is at home holding down the fort—usually spending most of her working day in her pjs and bathrobe (just the way she likes it), so no pic!
Edmunds is with a lively group in Cuba, having a blast, she reports. Because she’s fluent in Spanish, she says she’s been having great conversations with people on the street in Havana, getting a real sense of what life is like for them. The group has been giving out much-needed medicines, supplies and personal care goods that are so needed in Cuba these days. It’s great when doing good and having fun can overlap like this.

Edmunds has said she wants to go on the Cuba trip every year, she’s that charmed by the country. We’re already thinking ahead to 2026—let’s hope we can still run the trip.
Hope you enjoy the articles from this week’s NextTribe Magazine.

And from our archives—a wonderful account of champagne history by one of our favorite writers, Marion Winik.
