Jeannie Ralston is on her honeymoon in Italy right now now, basking in the sun on the shores of Lake Como.

It’s a much calmer vibe than what she experienced in Croatia. She says that trip was endlessly exciting, with many unique moments—such as a farm-to-table dinner in a stone cottage form the 1600s that sits on top of a windswept hill, surrounded by ruins, fig trees, jasmine bushes, and adorable donkeys.

But the peak experience came during the group’s rafting trip down the crystal clear Cestina River. Always ready for a challenge, Jeannie climbed up a cliff 5 or 6 meters high (roughly 15-18 feet) and jumped off into a deep pool. “I always like to exercise my ‘nerve’ so I don’t lose it,” she says.

The two celebrate in the photo above. “Nothing feels quite so amazing as finding out you’ve still got it,” Jeannie says.

Jeannie Edmunds is still in Austin, where she has just hired a local NextTriber, Carla Heinrich to frame some art she bought in Mexico City last month, plus a few other pieces. “I hired another NextTriber, Nancy Goedeke, to repair the damage on the mirror I had shipped from Morocco (on the wall in the photo above). Nancy is an Austin artist with a great eye so I knew she’d do a nice job, and now I’m thrilled to find another NextTriber who can help me build a gallery around the mirror,” she says.
