Greetings!
Can I really be old enough for this? That was Jeannie Ralston’s first thought when she walked into a Medicare info session today at a senior healthcare office. Her second thought—after 45 minutes of acronyms, options and a dissection of “Parts”—was: Can they make this more complicated? But as she drove away from the session, she thought how much easier health care will ultimately be for her. And getting older didn’t seem quite so bad.
At least her hair looks great!
Jeannie Edmunds was supposed to have surgery on her other eye yesterday but she forgot the first rule for undergoing anesthesia: don’t eat or drink after midnight. So she has a reprieve for another week. Meanwhile she’s helping Jeannie R. plan some exciting new trips for 2026, including one to Argentina. You can be sure the Jeannies will have to flip a coin to decide who gets to lead it!
The actual quarter we will use to decide who leads which trips in 2026!
