Age Boldly: Sleeveless in Seattle (and everywhere!)

Plus, straight from our beach retreat, 11 swimsuits that women our age actually wear!

Jeannie Ralston is running around getting ready for our NextTribe trip to Asheville this week. She can’t wait to show off her hometown—especially since the city feels “back” after last Fall’s disaster. She did have time for an Easter dinner with her mother, who is celebrating her 96th birthday, and many family members in Kingsport, Tennessee. She loves this tender photo of her mom with 2 of her 18 great-grandchildren. May we all be so lucky.

Jeannie Edmunds is headed back to Austin today after hosting a Southwest Travelers’ Reunion Happy Hour in Arizona last night. Phoenix NextTriber Delcy Brockman invited her fellow travelers from our Vietnam trip last year to a 3-day PJ party at her house and to her surprise almost everyone showed up! Jeannie will lead most of these women in San Miguel for our Day of the Dead trip later this year and next year on our Japan trip. It’s not unusual that our travelers find a new friend to travel with. These Vietnam women have formed a traveling posse!

Wendy Goodman brought everyone leis from her home state of Hawaii, Suzanne Frick brought caftans for the PJ party, and Debbie Lessin brought copies of her new book. We are thrilled to see the relationships formed on our trips continue well after the trips are over!

And one of our NextTribe team members is on the road this week: Travel Coordinator Brenda (Bren) Lyon is visiting her son, who’s studying in Italy this year. She and her family arrived in Rome just in time for the Conclave so the city is unusually crowded this week. All of us have a bad case of wanderlust!

Bren is traveling with her family this week, and you’ll meet her on a NextTribe trip soon!
