Happy April!

Jeannie Ralston is back at work—even though many friends told her to get out of town on a honeymoon following her big blow out on Saturday. She is planning a trip with Mike in late May to Italy and Switzerland (where she lived as a child).

She says you’re probably sick of seeing wedding photos after her founder newsletter yesterday, but the photographer just sent her this one, which she wanted to share.

Look in the mirror to see the expression on her grand-niece Lilly’s face when she saw her put on her Nudie jacket. Truly priceless.

Jeannie Edmunds is out in the Texas Hill Country today having her hair done before she goes to Japan. There are plenty of hairdressers in Austin but she loves driving out to Llano every 6 weeks to spend a couple of hours with Lori. They disagree 100 percent on politics so they find plenty of other things to talk about.

“Once you find a good colorist, you never want to let her go,” Jeannie says. “Besides, Lori is hilarious, a great storyteller, and doesn’t have a TV, a computer, or any social media. She reads, paints and writes poetry. We learn so much from each other and have a great friendship.”

Before we forget, have you invited a friend to enter our travel photo contest? Deadline is May 15.

You (or she) could win $2,000 off a trip, or $1,000 cash.

You don’t have to be a NextTribe member to be eligible to win.

Enjoy the reads!

Look What Jeannie Ralston Loves!

Jeannie Ralston says, “I always love a tee that is a bit more elevated than JUST a tee. I adored this heart one from Anthropologie so much that I wore it for our wedding eve party last Friday with a frou-frou skirt. If it can do that, I think it can go anywhere."
