Age Boldly: Reconnecting with an Ex-Husband: Good idea or not?
Plus, the 8 Best Mountain Towns in the Colorado Rockies
With only a week to go, Jeannie Ralston is busy preparing for trips to Ireland and Scotland with NextTribe groups. One of the things she does before every trip is get stamps made for each country to add to travelers’ NextTribe passports. Here are the two stamps she’s bringing along for these adventures—both designed by her talented guy Mike.

Before she leaves, Jeannie R. will be on a Trip Preview Zoom this coming Monday night, telling you all about the fun she and local Dee Quiggle have planned for Seattle in August. If you live in a hot part of the country (an ever growing designation), come see what cool activities we have in store.
Jeannie Edmunds is on her way to Washington, DC today with her husband, Dave. He has client meetings, she’s hosting a NextTribe coffee gathering (see below), and they’re both having lunch with someone Jeannie hasn’t seen in 28 years….her first husband, Doug!

Off to see Jeannie E.’s ex!!
Both Jeannie’s husband Dave and Doug’s wife agreed to this diplomatic detente. We think it’s emblematic of this stage of life when we’re often more tolerant and forgiving. We know from experience that certain people come into our lives only for a season and then move on. Since both men are interested in history and international relations (Doug recently retired as a Foreign Service Officer) she thinks they’ll get along. But she’ll sit between them just in case!
Meanwhile, if you’re reading this, you’re invited to Politics and Prose Saturday!

This Week’s New Reads
And with Jeannie Edmunds’ momentous reunion in mind, here’s a story from the archives proving there is life after divorce!
And please allow us to do a bit of crowing. We’re so excited that Conde Nast Traveler wrote up our Awe and Wonder Retreat in Greece. Woohooo!!!

Jeannie Ralston says, “If you’re on the road without a chance for a color touch up, this is the very best way to hide roots. I use it even when I’m NOT traveling and just want more time between appointments. Won’t run or smear. Fabuloso!!”
