Hey there,
Jeannie Ralston hosted a mini NextTribe retreat in Asheville last weekend. Frequent Trip Leader, marketing brain and team member Ellesor Holder was there. So was one of our board members, Michelle Breyer, and Jeannie Edmunds.
Between work sessions we took a drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, saw three bears, and we weren’t even hiking! We were so excited we couldn’t even get our cameras out fast enough for photos!
Dana Mitchell, our finance manager, sent us a selfie from a mountain peak in Colorado! She’s preparing for our Himalaya Trek in November. (2 spaces still open for adventurous souls).

Brenda Lyon stopped in Wyoming to visit Marcy Mitchell (again) on her way back from Denver. We finally have a photo of our travel management team in the same place at the same time!
Enjoy the reads!

Booking Deadline Approaching
Every year, we are thrilled to bring open-hearted travelers to gorgeous San Miguel de Allende in Mexico (Conde Nast Traveler’s #1 Destination in the World) over the lively and poignant holiday of Dia de los Muertos. With founder Jeannie Ralston’s connections, we do the town right and with the Mexican perspective on death and dying, we all come away with a new way to think about mortality.
Because so many of us at this age are seeking solace around loved ones who have passed, this trip fills up fast. Our first 2 offerings over Day of the Dead are sold out, so we’ve added another Deluxe Version to make sure everyone who wants to go gets a chance.
And before you get the idea that this is a solemn trip, please understand that our week reflects this piece of Mexican wisdom: Don’t be afraid of dying. Be afraid of not living. Expect to be moved and entertained.
We have to give final numbers to our hotels this weekend—so this is your last chance to book Vietnam in 2026. We have only 3 spots left and if you’ve been eyeing this truly enchanting trip, now’s the time to act.
On each of our two Vietnam trips, our travelers have raved and created such an intense bond that both groups have had reunions!! The camaraderie seems tighter on this trip than any other (and on ALL our trips, strong friendships are formed). Maybe it’s something about Vietnam that does it.
"This was my favorite NextTribe trip. The ability to experience a country and history so unlike ours. To be immersed in the culture and daily lives of the people. It was like going back in time and feeling like everyday brought something absolutely magical to behold. It was a trip I will cherish forever."—Tee Allman
