Age Boldly: Insuring yourself against "What If's" in travel

Plus a journey to Vietnam, and through your closets!

Jeannie Ralston returns from Morocco Friday. Though this is her third time in the country, she said this trip was the best….Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara with 13 intrepid NextTribe travelers and a fabulously generous and knowledgeable guide.

She’s been a skier since she was a kid, but this is the first time she’s sand-boarded. “I have a video of one of my runs” she says. “I think I’ll be watching that when I’m 95, amazed at what I was able to do.”

How do you say Cowabunga in Arabic? كوابونجا!

Jeannie Edmunds has been holding down the fort in Austin, where it snowed a whopping ½ inch on Tuesday. She’s writing today’s newsletter as she sits by the fire and sips her coffee. So meta!

Which Jeannie is having more fun this week? Hmmm.

We hope you’re cozy wherever you are, and if you are, that you appreciate your good fortune.

We sure do. Every day.

And a story from the pandemic, when we were all inside for a reason. Since it’s the season when most of us are indoors, it’s time to remind ourselves of how we can make the most of it!

Happy trails!
