Age Boldly: How to Manage Wanderlust Between Trips
Plus, we are releasing a bucket list trip for 2026: Ecuador and the Galapagos
Last Friday, Jeannie Ralston ticked off a bucket list destination only a few hours from her Asheville home. Ellesor, a dear pal from college days (and a NextTribe guide here and here), invited her—with Mike and other friends—to the Masters Golf Tournament. The setting—magnolias, azaleas, verdant rolling hills—was sublime, and the golf, tremendous (go Rory!!)
We do need some stinkin’ badges, actually. The Masters crew on the way to Augusta.
But she was surprised that many people seemed to be there mainly for the shopping. So much bright green merchandise; so many gnomes, polo shirts, and logo-ed ceramics. Swept up in the mania, Jeannie felt like she bought way too much—until she left and got so many requests for goodies from friends that she realized she hadn’t bought enough. Sigh.

Jeannie Edmunds is seeing a doctor now after avoiding them for 5 years! She’s healthy (thank goodness) just a little low on Vitamin D and needs to do more weight-bearing exercises. Don’t we all! She says at her age doctors can always find something wrong so she’s grateful to have gotten it over with…for the next 5 years…maybe.

Feeling strong..and blessed!
