Age Boldly: How One Woman Overcame Enochlophobia
And insomnia. You can too. Also, 2 new trips for 2026--Colombia and Guatemala.

Halló!
Jeannie Ralston is in Iceland wrapping up a trip to a country she calls “my new favorite destination.” She knows she’s not supposed to have favorites, but dang, it is exciting to visit a place you’ve never been before but always heard so much about. This trip is a 10/10 in her opinion, so you can be sure we’ll offer it again next year. Stay tuned.

Jeannie and traveler Kathy Eckhart found the ice in Iceland, y’all. (Plus, Jeannie and Kathy took a thrilling 1KM long zipline over a waterfall. You can be sure we’ll be sharing the video soon!)
After leading our Hydra Creativity Retreat next month, Jeannie Edmunds will stop in Virginia for a family wedding. She doesn’t want to schlep her formal wear with her to Greece. Like the other Jeannie, she avoids the baggage carousel like it's a river of hot (Icelandic) lava. So she's shipping a garment bag to her brother's house in Richmond. Her backup plan? "If it gets lost, I'll just go shopping!"

$69 from Austin to Richmond UPS Ground, including packing and insurance. Not terrible.
It’s the Lucie Frost show this week in NextTribe Magazine. Lucie’s Instagram post a while back inviting women over 45 who are “not assholes” to come on NextTribe trips has brought so many cool women into the Tribe. We are forever grateful to Lucie for helping us define our audience!

This Week’s Reads
We’re so glad Lucie overcame her “enochlophobia” (fear of big groups or crowds)! Turns out, she can also write, and she’s pretty funny. Check out her brand new book, “How the Hell Did I Not Know That? ” You can buy it here.
From the archives, an article Lucie wrote for us a while ago about the elusive ‘sandman.’

FEATURED FIND
Jeannie Ralston says, “I brought a new toiletry kit to Iceland, where I bought this super cool Viking hat—not a devil hat or a Smurf hat—at a tiny souvenir shop in the middle of nowhere. I can’t link to the hat, but I can tell you this North Face kit is sooo much better than what I was carrying before, which was a roll-up toiletry case that was way too bulky. This is sturdy, the pockets are easy to access and it fits everything I need. I bet it could fit my new hat too.”
