Hi there!
We were thinking about a 2025 Year in Review issue and we thought hey, let’s get YOU involved!
Reply to this email with a sentence or two describing your favorite NextTribe moment from 2025. It could be on a trip, at a local gathering, on a Zoom call, an encounter with one of our staff members, whatever you want to share. We’ll announce the winner in the next installment of Age Boldly, along with your photo (if you share one). And the winner gets $200 off of a future trip!
We can’t wait to read what you send in. Thank you!
Now here’s what the Jeannies (Laura Ross calls us “Jeannie-squared”) have been up to:
Last weekend, Jeannie Ralston visited Savannah to do some scouting in advance of our sold-out trip in March. Savannah is glorious in the spring AND at Christmas time—so much glitter and good cheer and so many people in fanciful holiday outfits. She had brunch with Beverly Willett, our woman in Savannah, who helped curate our itinerary and will host an author lunch at her home.
If you missed out on Savannah, but want a Southern domestic trip this spring, don’t forget that Jeannie Ralston is our woman in Asheville—and puts together a hell of an itinerary for that beautiful city in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Whenever Jeannie Edmunds hears Christmas carols this year she’s feeling the loss of her mom, who loved Christmas music more than anyone in the family. Since her only family member who lives nearby is away for the holidays, she’s been out and about connecting with old and new friends. This week at Donn’s Depot (a legendary Austin music venue) she ran into Peggy Miller and Theresa Ann Alba, two NextTribers who traveled with her to San Miguel de Allende last year.
“My life is much richer since I joined NextTribe,” Jeannie says. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to make new and cherished friends both in Austin and on our trips. Sending big love to all of you!”

Peggy (center) is also going with Jeannie E. on the NextTribe trip to Japan next April!
Both “Jeannies” have put our faith in the power of connection and community. We hope you find your people and hug them often. Especially this time of year.
Enjoy the reads this week.
This Week’s Reads
Jeannie E. has been back from our Vietnam trip for almost a month and she just won’t stop talking about it. Good lord. What is up with this trip?
Those ladies in Vietnam had to strip down to their birthday suits to get into the herbal baths in Ms. Pham’s village and guess what? Nobody died of embarrassment. It was liberating! Which reminds us…
